Ch. Encore’s Crimson Tide co-owned by Darlene Vickers, Terri Galle and Cheryl Cates……

The litter of 8 was born on 8/14/05……just two weeks before hurricane Katrina hit…….in our preparations for the storm…..we had NO CLUE where we would go with 11 dogs (2 adult boxers, 8 boxer babies and a schnauzer)….if we needed to evacuate……but…..Darlene assured us that we had a place to go if we needed one…..well…..WE NEEDED ONE……left without electricity…..water…..phone lines…..and many other basic necessities.....in the hottest….stickiest …..part of the summer in Southern Louisiana…..we knew we HAD to get these babies to safety…..so we piled the 11 dogs, the two kids and Danny and I into the van and made the trip to Darlenes……she and Danny welcomed us with open arms and took care of us as if we were family……for two weeks they spoiled us and the babies beyond belief……then reality set in and we had to go back home to start mending what Katrina had broken……

From the very start…..I was emphatic about NOT KEEPING A PUPPY from the litter…..three dogs was quite enough for me……then the litter came and if I had had my way……I would have kept all 8 of them……I could barely stand to part with any of them……

Becca would be our newest family member……from the minute we laid eyes on this beautiful little girl….we knew that she would be staying here at TerDan…..Becca has a spirit bigger than any dog I have ever known……she literally INSISTS that you love her……bouncy…..mischevious…..and full-of-herself……there is NO WAY that you can refuse her anything……SPOILED……VERY……OUR DIVA GIRL……

Becca has been shown sparingly here down south…..by Terri Galle…….and has been home maturing for the past few months…..she will soon be going out to California to be campaigned by Cheryl Cates of Encore Boxers…..look for her in the show ring soon……
